I'm a researcher, educator, and labor organizer working at the intersection of writing across the curriculum, labor studies, and situated, historical, embodied semiosis. Situated in physics labs and writing centers to public protests and union halls, my work challenges narrow, segmented accounts of people's lives, practices, and communities and attends to their literate activity--the wealth and variety of semiotic resources people act with--and the way those resources are woven into and propel the histories of meaning-making that people assemble across moments and lives.
